Common problems and easy repairs on a 1992 Clio

The 1992 Renault Clio RT is relatively easy to maintain. Changing the headlight bulb with reliability is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the assembly. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay, allowing you to regularly check the fluid level. Checking the oil level is easy to do as the dipstick is readily accessible in the engine bay.

Some things are problematic on the 1992 Renault Clio RT. Changing the engine air filter can be difficult, as you will need more tools than usual to reach the filter. The brake fluid reservoir is somewhat obstructed in the engine bay, making it hard to regularly monitor the fluid level. You must completely remove the tail light bulb housing for access to the tail light bulb, which will require you to remove some fasteners and use a bit of force.
