The 1999 Acura CL Premium is a very easy car to maintain. Accessing the tail lights is easy to do on this car, as there is a designated panel in the trunk for you to remove the access. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the trunk. This keeps the jack kit and tire ready to go in case of emergency. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every vehicle equips the dipstick, so it’s a nice touch to be able to check the level easily.

Some things are tough on the 1999 Acura CL Premium. In order to access the headlight bulb, you will have to remove a panel first. This is an extra step that you won’t find on other models. You will have to loosen a few bolts in order to access the air filter housing. While not overly difficult, it does require a few tools you may not have ready to go for a filter change.
