The 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 ST is relatively easy to maintain. Both of the batteries are quick to reach on either side of the engine bay, allowing for easy jump starts and battery replacements. The unobstructed access to the brake fluid reservoir will allow you to reliably monitor the fluid level. Changing the engine air filter won’t be a problem as the filter housing disengages without much hassle.
However, the 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 ST has a few downsides. The headlights will require the entire bulb housing to be removed for access to the bulbs, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. The tail lights have a similar set-up but with the caveat of having to disengage the bulb assembly from the housing, as well. Servicing a flat tire may prove problematic if the spare tire has been rendered inaccessible, as it could potentially become rusted to the undercarriage.
