The 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc is a somewhat difficult car to maintain. Many of the headlights will require multiple engine parts removals for access to them, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The fog light in particular will be problematic to reach as you must work upside-down while using tools to first remove a covering panel. You must also work in this position to access the petcock, which will only make for more cumbersome coolant flushes.

However, the 2004 Saab 9-3 Arc does have its upsides. The tail lights in the main housing are accessible without the use of any tools, which should make for reliable bulb changes. The brake fluid reservoir has unobstructed access that will make it easy to monitor the fluid level. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, which will eliminate the problem of difficult access in the event of a flat.
