Consumer Review Video - 2005 Citroen Xsara SX Hatchback 1.6L 4 Cyl.

Car Displayed: 2005 Citroen Xsara SX Hatchback 1.6L 4 Cyl.

The 2005 Citroen Xsara SX Hatchback is a somewhat easy car to maintain. The tail light housing can be removed without the use of any tools, allowing for reliable bulb changes when necessary. The battery bracket and terminal cables can be disconnected with ease, so replacing the battery shouldn’t be a problem. The oil dipstick is quick to find and easy to remove, making it easy to monitor its fluid level.

However, the 2005 Citroen Xsara SX Hatchback has its downsides. Accessing the cabin air filter may be tedious, as multiple covers underneath the glove box will need to be removed first. The wheel well lining and multiple covers must be disconnected to reach the fog lights, which won’t make for reliable access. The spare tire and jack are located in a basket underneath the vehicle, which could be a problem when fixing a flat should they end up rusted to the frame.
