Consumer Review Video - 2005 Infiniti FX35 3.5L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2005 FX35

The 2005 Infiniti FX35 is a difficult car to maintain, comprised of many complicated repair procedures. The engine air filter housing will need to be taken out for access to the headlights on the driver side, which will require multiple tools and won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Replacing the cabin air filter may be a problem as you’ll have to remove the entire glove box housing first. The battery will be difficult to reach for a jumpstart or a replacement and will require multiple panel removals to do so.

However, the 2005 Infiniti FX35 does have its upsides. The power steering reservoir has unobstructed access that will allow you to easily monitor the fluid level. The open access to the oil dipstick will allow you check the oil with reliability. Servicing a flat tire shouldn’t be a huge problem as the spare and jack kit are quick to reach.
