The 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 is a relatively easy van to maintain, but it does have its share of complicated procedures. For instance, the engine air filter is located deep in the engine bay and requires many different tools in order to disengage its housing, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. The center brake light also needs tools for access, as it’s not an LED bulb like on similar models and will thus require more maintenance. Monitoring the power steering fluid may be a problem on account of its reservoir’s hard-to-reach location.

However, the 2006 Dodge Sprinter 2500 has many upsides. No tools are needed to access its headlights, allowing for reliable bulb changes whenever necessary. The tail lights are easy to access, as well: all located in a single assembly that removes with ease. Monitoring the brake fluid is no problem on account of the open access to its reservoir.
