The 2006 Infiniti G35 X is a moderately difficult vehicle to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for someone experienced in vehicle maintenance. The cabin air filter can be difficult to access. You will have to remove the glove box, and make a tough reach, to change the filter. You will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the headlight. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle and be difficult to peel back. Changing the engine air filter is more difficult than usual, as you will need to complete more steps than usual to access with reliability.

Some things are easier on the 2006 Infiniti G35 X. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. The rear turn signal bulb is not a problem to access. You only have to disengage a few easy to remove fasteners and a lining first. Checking the oil level is easy to do, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.
