Consumer Review Video - 2008 Acura RL 3.5L V6

Car Displayed: 2008 Acura RL 3.5L V6

The 2008 Acura RL is a relatively difficult vehicle to maintain when compared to other similar models. The engine coolant reservoir is not overly visible in the engine bay. This makes it hard to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. You will need many tools to remove the tail light housing for access to the tail light bulbs. These tools may not be readily available for a repair. You will also need many tools to access the fog light. This will also require you to crawl under the vehicle and work in a cramped space.

Some things are easier on the 2008 Acura RL. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis.
