The 2008 Dodge Sprinter 2500 has a few components that are difficult to repair. The battery is located in the footwell beneath the steering wheel, which is a unique location and can be tough to pull out. In order to access the tail lights, you will have to remove the bulb housing, and then remove the bulb assembly for access. Lowering the spare tire from underneath the vehicle is a complicated procedure with many steps, making a quick tire change difficult to complete.

There are a few easier repairs. To replace the headlights, all you have to do is simply reach behind the housing; much easier access than you’ll find on other vehicles. Setting the clock is easy as this vehicle has designated buttons in the dash for you to use to change the time. Changing the oil is also easier due to the clear access to the drain plug.
