Common problems and easy repairs on a 2008 Accord
The 2008 Honda Accord EX-L is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for even the average vehicle owner. Checking the transmission fluid level with reliability is no problem, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every model includes this dipstick. Changing the center brake light is easy to do, as you only have to reach through the rear of the vehicle for access. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.
Some things are problematic on the 2008 Honda Accord EX-L. Changing the headlight bulb can be tough, as you will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the bulb. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle. You will need to use more tools than usual to change the engine air filter. The cabin air filter can also be tough to change. You will have to lower the glove box first. Other models will include an access panel.
