Consumer Review Video - 2008 Volvo C70 T5 2.5L 5 Cyl. Turbo

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2008 C70

The 2008 Volvo C70 T5 is a moderately easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the experienced car owner. The tail light assembly is no problem to access behind one simple-to-remove panel in the trunk. Checking the oil level with reliability is easy, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. The brake fluid level is easy to check, as the maximum and minimum level markers are easily visible in the engine bay.

Some things are more problematic on the 2008 Volvo C70 T5. You will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle in order to access the oil drain plug. This panel can be quite cumbersome. To change the wiper blade, you will have to use a tool to remove the blade. Most models do not require the use of tools. The cabin air filter is difficult to access, as it is located underneath the steering wheel.
