The 2010 Dodge Challenger RT is a relatively easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the experienced car owner. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners in order to access the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The headlight is easy to access, as you only have to lift one easy to remove panel for access to the bulb. Other models make this access more complicated. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are more problematic to repair on the 2010 Dodge Challenger RT. You will have to use a few tools in order to peel back a lining under the vehicle for access to the fog light. You may not have these tools readily available for a repair. In order to access the oil drain plug for an oil change, you will need to remove a large panel from under the vehicle first. This is a problem, as you will have to contend with gravity as you complete. The brake fluid reservoir is not locate din an overly visible spot in the engine bay. This can make it hard to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis.
