The 2010 Dodge Journey SXT will require a few tools to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for the average vehicle owner. You will have to lower the tire from under the vehicle for access to the spare. The lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle and be difficult to turn. Changing the fog light can be tough, as you will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access. This lining can grow tight to the vehicle over time. You will have to use many tools in order to remove either tail light housing for access to the bulbs. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair.

Some things are easier on the 2010 Doge Journey SXT. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The headlight is easy to change, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to change. Other models will require the use of tools.
