Consumer Review Video - 2010 Saab 9-3 2.0T 2.0L 4 Cyl. Turbo Sedan

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2010 9-3

The 2010 Saab 9-3 2.0T is somewhat difficult to maintain. Multiple covers and engine components must be removed to access the headlights on the driver side of the vehicle, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Performing a coolant flush may be a problem, as you’ll have to first remove a large panel from underneath the vehicle to access the petcock. The transmission fluid dipstick is also difficult to reach at the bottom of the engine bay and will need a tool in order to disengage it.

However, the 2010 Saab 9-3 2.0T has its upsides. Monitoring the engine coolant shouldn’t be a problem thanks to the unobstructed access to the reservoir. The oil dipstick is also easy to reach, allowing for reliable oil level checks. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together and easy to remove, allowing for easy set-up in the event of a flat.
