Consumer Review Video - 2012 Dodge Charger RT 5.7L V8

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2012 Charger

The 2012 Dodge Charger RT is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain and a good choice for any vehicle owner. The engine coolant reservoir is easily accessible in the driver side of the engine bay. The cabin air filter is accessible in the cowl. You only have to remove to two covers for access to it, and both covers remove easily. The spare tire and jack kit are paired together beneath the rear lining.

Some things are more difficult on the 2012 Dodge Charger RT. To reach the oil drain plug, you must remove a panel from under the vehicle first. Changing the fog light can be tough, as you must pry back the wheel well lining, which is tightly secured to the vehicle. The battery is positioned in the trunk, and while the bracket is easy to reach the battery itself is difficult to pull out.
