Consumer Review Video - 2012 Hyundai Tucson Limited 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2012 Tucson

The 2012 Hyundai Tucson Limited is a very easy car to maintain. All of the headlights can be accessed by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The spare tire and jack kit have quick access in the trunk, so setting them up in the event of a flat shouldn’t be a problem. The engine air filter is also quick to access and doesn’t require any tools for its removal.

However, the 2012 Hyundai Tucson Limited does have its downsides. You will need to remove the entire bulb housing to access a majority of the tail lights, which can be time-consuming. Multiple fasteners and the glove box will need to be removed to reach the cabin air filter, which doesn’t allow for reliable access. The petcock can only be reached through the engine bay, which can be a problem as it could expose you to hot engine parts.
