Consumer Review Video - 2012 Hyundai i10 Era 1.1L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2012 i10

The 2012 Hyundai i10 Era is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain. The open access to the battery bracket will allow you to reach in and remove it without a problem. The unobstructed position of the engine coolant reservoir will allow you to monitor the fluid levels with reliability. The engine air filter will be easy to change as no tools are necessary to disengage the filter housing for access to it.

However, the 2012 Hyundai i10 Era does have some tedious procedures. The entire bulb housing will need to be removed for access to the headlights, which will require tools and won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The tail lights have a similar set-up, which will make for more cumbersome bulb replacements. Performing a coolant flush may be a problem as the lower radiator hose will prove difficult to reach.
