The 2013 Mazda 5 Sport is a pretty easy car to maintain when compared to other similar models. The headlight is no problem to access on this vehicle, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access the bulb. Accessing the engine air filter with reliability is easy to do on this vehicle. To lift the housing, you only need to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter. Checking the engine coolant fluid level is easy to do, as the reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.

Some things are tougher to repair on the 2013 Mazda 5 Sport. You will have to remove many panels, and make a tough reach beneath the glove box in order to access the cabin air filter. In order to replace the front wiper blade, you will have to use a tool. Other models do not require you to use tools to change the wiper blade. Checking the transmission fluid level can be difficult, as the dipstick is located deep in the engine bay and is tough to reach.
