Consumer Review Video - 2014 Kia Forte LX 1.8L 4 Cyl.

Car Displayed: 2014 Kia Forte LX 1.8L 4 Cyl.

The 2014 Kia Forte LX is a moderately easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the average car owner. Accessing the headlight on this vehicle is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for reliable access. Connecting the Bluetooth is easier on this model than on other vehicles, as there are designated phone buttons that guide you through the process. Changing the engine air filter is easy to do on this vehicle, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter.

Some things are difficult on the 2014 Kia Forte LX. To access one of the tail lights, you will have to use many tools in order to completely take out the bulb housing. It would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the vehicle for access. You will have to lower the glove box in order to access the cabin air filter. Other models will include a panel in the back of the glove box for access to the filter. The engine coolant fluid level is difficult to check, as the fluid reservoir is located deep in the engine bay, making the maximum and minimum fluid markers tough to see.
