The 2014 Smart Fortwo Passion is rather easy to maintain. All of the headlights in the main housing are accessible by simply reaching behind it, allowing for reliable bulb changes as necessary. The tail lights can also be changed without a problem thanks to their quick access behind a single cover in the trunk. The brake fluid reservoir has unobstructed access that will allow you to monitor the fluid levels with ease.
However, the 2014 Smart Fortwo Passion has some convoluted downsides. A large panel in the rear of the vehicle must be removed for access to the engine air filter, which won’t allow for reliable filter changes. The center brake light will require an entire housing removal in order to change the bulb, which can be a time-consuming process. When fixing a flat, the included compressor kit may end up being problematic if your tire cannot hold air.
