Consumer Review Video - 2015 Acura TLX 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Car Displayed: 2015 Acura TLX 2.4L 4 Cyl.

The 2015 Acura TLX is a moderately difficult car to maintain, but shouldn’t be too hard for the experienced car owner. The engine coolant fluid reservoir is not overly visible in the engine bay. This can make it hard to reliably check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. This vehicle does not come equipped with a traditional spare tire. Instead, it comes with a compressor kit, which can leave you stranded if your tire cannot hold air. Setting the clock can be a problem, as the steps to find the time change section are not overly intuitive.

Some things are easier to fix on the 2015 Acura TLX. Changing the cabin air filter is easier to do than usual, as you only have to remove a few panels in the rear of the glove box for reliable access. These panels are easy to remove. Likewise, the engine air filter is easy to change, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners to lift the cover for access. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The battery is easier to remove, as the bracket that secures the battery is itself easy to remove. Other models make this harder to complete.
