The 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid is a rather difficult vehicle to maintain. Many of the headlights will require the wheel well lining to be removed for access, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Accessing the engine air filter may be a problem given the multiple parts that will need to be disconnected first. The lower radiator hose will require a deep reach through the engine bay, which might expose you to hot engine parts.
However, the 2015 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid does have its upsides. The headlight and highbeam are accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes whenever necessary. The tail lights are all located in a single bulb housing which pries out of the vehicle with ease. Monitoring the brake fluid levels won’t be a problem given the reservoir’s open access in the engine bay.
