Consumer Review Video - 2016 Acura ILX 2.4L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 ILX

The 2016 Acura ILX is somewhat easy to maintain. The battery has open access to the terminals and the bracket, which will allow for reliable jumpstarts and changes whenever necessary. The fuse boxes are both easy to reach, and the one in the engine comes provided with a fuse puller for your convenience. Monitoring the brake fluid won’t be a problem as the fluid level markers are easy to see on the side of the reservoir.

However, the 2016 Acura ILX has some difficult downsides. Many of the headlights will require the entire housing to be removed or the wheel well lining to be pried back, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. Performing an oil change will be inconvenient as two different panels secured by two different types of screws will need to be removed first. The included compressor kit may be problematic if your flat cannot hold air.
