Consumer Review Video - 2016 Acura TLX SH-AWD 3.5L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2016 TLX

The 2016 Acura TLX SH-AWD is easy to maintain. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth is simple, as you only have to complete some steps in the electronic menu to do so. The cabin air filter is behind three covers in the glove box, which all remove with ease. Changing the engine air filter is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners to lift the housing.

Some things are problematic on the 2016 Acura TLX SH-AWD. To reach the front turn signal light you must pry back the wheel well lining, which can be tightly secured to the vehicle. The engine coolant reservoir is blocked by part of the front panel, making it difficult to add fluid or read the level markers. The engine fuse box is under a bar in the back of the engine bay, and you must reach around it to remove the cover.
