Consumer Review Video - 2017 GMC Acadia SLE 2.5L 4 Cyl.

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2017 Acadia

The 2017 GMC Acadia SLE is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain. Some of the headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind the bulb housing and removing a single cover—no tools nor extensive parts removals will be required. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth isn’t a problem as the straightforward directions on the touchscreen menu are easy to follow. The engine coolant reservoir has unobstructed access, which will allow you to monitor it with reliability.

However, the 2017 GMC Acadia SLE has its downsides. You’ll need to work in an awkward position to remove a panel from underneath the vehicle for access to the fog light, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. The tail lights also have tedious access as panels or entire housings will need to be pried off for access to the bulbs. Changing the engine air filter may be a problem on account of its housing’s cramped position.
