The 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL is easy to maintain. All of the tail lights are located in a single bulb housing which removes from the vehicle with relative ease, allowing for reliable bulb changes. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together beneath the cargo bed, allowing for easy access in the event you’ll need to service a flat. Changing the engine air filter isn’t a problem, as the housing disengages without the use of any tools to allow you access to the filter itself.
However, the 2017 Honda Ridgeline RTL has its downsides. The headlights in the main housing will require a large panel to be removed for access. Those in the lower housing require a panel underneath the vehicle to be pried back first, which won’t facilitate reliable bulb changes. The air filter intake vent is a problem as it needs to be removed for multiple repairs.
