Consumer Review Video - 2017 Hyundai Tucson Eco 1.6L 4 Cyl. Turbo

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2017 Tucson

The 2017 Hyundai Tucson Eco is relatively easy to maintain. The unobstructed access to the engine coolant reservoir will allow for reliable fluid level monitoring. Changing the highbeam and/or front turn signal won’t be a problem as no tools nor parts removals will be required to do so. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, making them quick to remove and set up when servicing a flat.

However, the 2017 Hyundai Tucson Eco has a handful of complicated procedures. The tail lights will require housing or panel removals in order to access their bulbs, which won’t make for reliable changes. The wheel well lining must be pried back to access the fog light, which might prove problematic as the lining is tightly secured to the vehicle. Performing an oil change or a coolant flush will be difficult as multiple large panels will need to be removed first.
