Consumer Review Video - 2018 Kia Rio S 1.6L 4 Cyl. Sedan

Car Displayed: 2018 Kia Rio S 1.6L 4 Cyl. Sedan

The 2018 Kia Rio S is relatively easy to maintain. Many of the headlights are accessible by simply reaching behind the housing, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Connecting your phone via Bluetooth won’t be a problem thanks to the clear instructions on the touchscreen menu. The engine air filter housing disengages without the use of tools, allowing you to replace the filter without hassle.

However, the 2018 Kia Rio S has a few pain points. The bulb housing and the bumper will need to be disengaged and pried back to reach one of the parking lights, which will require the use of many tools and won’t allow for reliable access. Changing the battery might be a problem given the cramped position of the bracket at the foot of the battery. The air conditioning fill cap also has a deep placement that will make it difficult to reach.
