Checking the oil level is no problem, as the dipstick is reliably accessible in the engine bay. The brake fluid reservoir is easily accessible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis.

Some things are more problematic on the 1987 Porsche 944. The tail lights are complicated to access. You will have to remove many components, and work in a cramped spot in order to complete. Changing the engine air filter can be tough, as it will be difficult to pull the filter itself out, and, you will have to use tools to complete. To access the parking light, you will have to reach through the wheel well lining and complete additional steps. This is more complicated access than on other models.
