Common problems and easy repairs on a 1993 ES300

The 1993 Lexus ES300 has some complicated procedures. A large panel must be disengaged to access the headlights, while those in the main housing will require said housing to be removed—all of which won’t allow for reliable access. Reaching the tail lights may also be a problem, on account of the multiple bolts and portions of lining that will need to be removed before the housing can be taken out. You will need a special tool to remove the engine cover for access to the spark plugs.

However, the 1993 Lexus ES300 does have its upsides. The open access to both the battery bracket and terminals will allow for reliable jumpstarts and battery replacements. All of the fuse boxes have covers that remove with ease and conveniently come provided with their own fuse pullers. Changing the engine air filter won’t be a problem as no tools will be required.
