Consumer Review Video - 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL 3.8L V6

Car Displayed: 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL 3.8L V6

The 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL is relatively difficult to maintain. The battery has remote terminals and a bracket that’s located deep in the engine bay, and will require the sway bar to be removed before it can be reached. The entire bulb housing and multiple covers will need to be removed to access any of the headlights, which won’t allow for reliable bulb changes. Changing the air filter may be a problem on account of how it’s tightly wedged into the engine bay.

However, the 1998 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL has its upsides. The spare tire and jack kit are packaged together, allowing for quick removal and problem-free set-up in the event of a flat. The transmission fluid dipstick is quick to find and easy to remove, allowing you to monitor your fluid level with reliability. The center brake light bulbs are quick to change, accessible behind a single, easy-to-remove panel.
