The 1999 Opel Astra Elegance is a slightly more difficult car to repair than other similar models. Checking the oil level is easy, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. To change the engine air filter, you only need to disengage a few fasteners in order to lift the housing. Changing the rear wiper blades is easy to do on this car. Other models will require the use of tools, so it’s a nice touch to be able to change this blade with just your bare hands.

Some things are difficult on the 1999 Opel Astra Elegance. Changing the headlight is difficult to do on this car. You will need many tools in order to pull the housing out of the vehicle for access. Accessing the tail light is also tough. There are many steps to follow in order to pull the housing out for access. Checking the power steering fluid level can be tough, as the reservoir is not located in an easy visible spot in the engine bay.
