The 2000 Volkswagen Polo is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain and a good choice for any vehicle owner. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. Changing the headlight with reliability is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the cover. You only have to peel back one easy-to-peel-back lining in the trunk to gain access to the tail light bulbs.

Some things are problematic on the 2000 Volkswagen Polo. You will have to use more tools than usual for access to the engine air filter. Other models will not require the use of any tools. Changing one of the front turn signal bulbs can be tough to do, as you will have to pry out the entire housing first. This housing can be tough to pry out. The brake fluid reservoir can be difficult to access, as you will have to make a tough reach in the engine bay in order to reach the cap.
