Common problems and easy repairs on a 2002 Mondeo

You will need to remove torx bolts for access to the cabin air filter. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair. To change the fog light with reliability you will have to completely remove the bulb housing. This will require you to remove screws. Changing the engine air filter will require you to disengage a few Phillips head screws first. Other models will not require the use of tools for this repair.

Some things are easier on the 2002 Ford Mondeo Estate LX. Both the front and rear wiper blades are no problem to change. Other models will require the use of tools for changing your wiper blades. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. Checking the oil level is easy to do, as the dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.
