Consumer Review Video - 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8

Car Displayed: 2002 Lincoln LS 3.9L V8

The 2002 Lincoln LS is an easier car to maintain than other similar models. The oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Checking the power steering fluid level is easy as the reservoir is very visible in the engine bay. It’s nice that the 2002 Lincoln LS is designed so that these fluid levels are easy to check on a regular basis. The oil drain plug is also easily accessible beneath the vehicle.

In order to remove some of the tail lights, however, you will have to remove the entire tail light housing. This is a little more difficult than it is on other models. Replacing the cabin air filter also requires the removal of a few fasteners and a panel; most filters won’t require these extra steps. The battery is also located in the trunk. While not difficult to access, it is unusual location for the battery.
