Consumer Review Video - 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 5.3L V8

Car Displayed: 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 5.3L V8

The 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 is relatively easy to maintain. The fog and daytime running lights are accessible by simply reaching behind the front bumper, allowing for reliable bulb changes. Checking the transmission fluid won’t be a problem thanks to the unobstructed access to the dipstick. Both of the fuse boxes are easy to reach, and the interior fuse box comes provided with a fuse puller for your convenience.

However, the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche 1500 has some downsides, particularly with regards to tricky lights procedures. Both of the headlight housings must be pried out of the vehicle for access to their bulbs, which won’t allow for reliable access on account of their bulky and cumbersome placement. Changing the tail lights will be time-consuming as their entire housing will also need to be removed. Performing a coolant flush may prove problematic as the lower radiator hose will be difficult to reach.
