The 2004 Lexus ES330 is a moderately easy car to maintain. With the exception of a couple of bulbs, all of the headlights are reliably accessible by reaching behind the bulb housing without the need of any tools. The transmission fluid dipstick is no problem to find and easy to remove and read its level markers. The spare tire and jack kit are also quick to remove, allowing them to be set up easily in the event of a flat.
However, the 2004 Lexus ES330 does have its share of convoluted procedures. The fog light and second parking light will require you to pry back the wheel well lining, which can be pretty rigid. The glove box must be disconnected to access the cabin air filter, which can be a tedious process. The center brake light is not an LED bulb and will need to be replaced more frequently over time.
