Consumer Review Video - 2004 Scion xA 1.5L 4 Cyl.

Car Displayed: 2004 Scion xA 1.5L 4 Cyl.

The 2004 Scion xA is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, but is recommended to those more experienced in vehicle maintenance. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Changing the rear wiper blade is no problem on this vehicle. Other models will require the use of tools when changing your blades. The brake fluid reservoir is very visible on this vehicle. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level with reliability.

Some things are problematic on the 2004 Scion xA. You will have to remove a large panel from under the vehicle for access to the petcock for a coolant drain. To change the headlight, you will have to move a fuse box out of the way, and use many tools in order to access. The engine coolant reservoir is not overly visible on this vehicle. That will make it hard to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis.
