Car Displayed: 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V6 3.2L V6

The 2004 Volkswagen Touareg V6 is a relatively difficult vehicle to maintain, when compared to other similar models. You will need to remove many torx bolts in order to access the fog light with reliability on this vehicle. The tools necessary may not be readily available for a repair. Changing the cabin air filter can be a problem, as you will have to remove multiple panels under the glove box for access. Other models make this easier. To access the oil drain plug for an oil change, you will need to remove a large panel from under the vehicle first. This will require you to contend with gravity as you complete.

The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Both the front and rear wiper blades are easy to replace on this vehicle. Other models require the use of tools to complete, so it’s a nice touch to be able to change these blades with reliability. Checking the oil level is no problem, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay.
