Common problems and easy repairs on a 2005 300

While some things are tougher to repair on this vehicle, the 2005 Chrysler 300c is a moderately easy car to maintain, and a good choice for the average car owner. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. Changing the front wiper blade is no problem to do. Other cars will require the use of tools, so it’s a nice touch to be able to reliably change this blade with just your hands. The engine air filter is easy to access and replace. You only have to disengage a few fasteners for access to the filter, and these fasteners are easy to disengage.

As previously stated, some things are tougher to maintain on the 2006 Chrysler 300c. You will have to remove a few bolts, fasteners, and a panel in order to access the fog light. This will require tools you may not have readily available for a repair. In order to access the headlight on one side, you will have to move a reservoir out of the way first. This is more complicated access than on other models. Checking the brake fluid level can be tough, as the fluid reservoir is not located in an easily visible spot in the engine bay.
