Consumer Review Video - 2005 Ford Excursion Limited 6.8L V10

Car Displayed: 2005 Ford Excursion Limited 6.8L V10

The 2005 Ford Excursion Limited is a moderately easy truck to maintain. The oil drain plug and the oil filter are accessible without any panel removals, allowing for reliable oil changes. Checking the transmission fluid won’t be a problem given the open access to the dipstick. The engine air filter will also prove easy to change as no tools are needed to disengage the filter housing.

However, the 2005 Ford Excursion Limited does have some downsides. The bulb housing and the grille will need to be removed to access many of the headlights, which won’t make for reliable bulb changes. The fog light will have problematic access as well, requiring you to make a tight reach for the bulb itself. The battery bracket will be hard to access, which might slow down any potential battery replacements.
