Consumer Review Video - 2006 Cadillac CTS 3.6L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2006 CTS

The 2006 Cadillac CTS is moderately difficult to maintain. You must move the air filter housing out of the way for access to the headlight on one side. Changing the fog light with reliability can be a problem, as you will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access. You will need many tools in order to complete many steps to remove the tail light housing for access to the tail light.

Some things are easier on the 2006 Cadillac CTS. The brake fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay, allowing you to check the fluid level on a regular basis. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle, keeping them ready to go in case of emergency. Changing the front wiper blade with reliability is easy to do, as you can do so without the use of tools.
