Consumer Review Video - 2006 Ford Fusion SE 3.0L V6

Car Displayed: 2006 Ford Fusion SE 3.0L V6

The 2006 Ford Fusion SE is a moderately easy vehicle to maintain and a good choice for any vehicle owner. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency. The engine coolant reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will make it easy to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. Changing the engine air filter with reliability is no problem, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners.

Some things are problematic on the 2006 Ford Fusion SE. You will have to peel down a panel from under the vehicle to access the fog light. This will require you to also remove bolts first. The transmission fluid dipstick is located in the back of the engine bay. It can be hard to see and will require a tough reach to remove. To gain access to the front turn signal bulb you will need to remove a hose first. Other models will not require this step.
