Car Displayed: 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT 3.8L V6

The 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT is a relatively easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for the average vehicle owner. Changing the headlight with reliability is no problem, as you only have to reach behind the housing for access to the bulb. The power steering fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to check and replenish the fluid level on a regular basis. The components of the spare tire are easily accessible in the rear of the vehicle. This keeps the tire and jack kit ready to go in case of emergency.

Some things are problematic on the 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT. Changing the fog light is difficult to do, as you will have to peel back the wheel well lining for access to the assembly. This lining can be difficult to peel back. You will have to completely remove the tail light housing for access to the bulbs. This will require many tools to complete many steps. The engine air filter is more complicated to replace on this vehicle. You will need to use more tools than usual, and other vehicles make this filter simpler to replace.
