Consumer Review Video - 2007 Cadillac SRX 4.6L V8

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2007 SRX

The 2007 Cadillac SRX is a complicated car to maintain when compared to other similar models. You will have to remove a large panel underneath the vehicle in order to reliably access the petcock. This will require a few tools, and is a problem to do, as you will have to crawl under the vehicle for access. Lowering the spare tire on this vehicle is extremely complicated, as the vehicle utilizes the secondary latch system for lowering the tire. Accessing the fog light is extremely complicated, as you will need many tools, and have to follow many steps, in order to access the bulb.

Some things are easier on the 2007 Cadillac SRX. The cabin air filter is easily accessible behind a few easy to remove panels in the cowel of the vehicle. Removing the battery is made easier by an easy to remove bracket. Only one bolt secures this bracket, making a battery change simple. Checking the brake fluid level is easy, as the fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay.
