Consumer Review Video - 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser 4.0L V6

Common problems and easy repairs on a 2007 FJ Cruiser

The 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser is a very easy vehicle to maintain, and a good choice for any car owner. You only have to reach behind the housing for reliable access to the headlight. This makes a bulb change much easier to complete than on other models. Changing the engine air filter is easy to do, as you only have to disengage a few fasteners in order to lift the cover for access. These fasteners are easy to disengage. The tail light bulb is not a problem to access and change, as you only have to remove one easy to remove cover in the rear of the vehicle for access.

Some things are harder to do on the 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser. The cabin air filter can be a problem to change on this vehicle. You will have to lower the glove box for access, and this would have been much easier if there were a designated panel in the rear of the glove box for access. You will have to remove the side view mirror in order to change one of the parking lights. While this mirror is easy to take off, it can break if you do not remove it correctly. While not overly difficult to remove, the jack is located in a tighter spot than usual, and can be a problem to disengage and remove from the vehicle.
