The 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL was an easy car to maintain, but, does have more difficult to replace lights than other models. The tail lights will require you to remove the entire housing first, which requires many steps to complete. To remove the headlights, you will have to remove the grill, which is very difficult to do, making these headlights some of the hardest headlights to remove on any car. The oil dipstick is not easy visible in the engine bay, making an oil check tough to do.

There are easier aspects to repairing the 2008 Buick Lucerne CXL. The cabin air filter is located behind one easy to remove cover. The oil drain plug is easily accessible beneath the vehicle. The components of the spare tire are also easily accessible in the trunk.
