The 2008 Cadillac Escalade is one of the hardest cars to maintain of any make or model. Accessing the spare tire is extremely difficult, as it uses the secondary latch system for lowering the tire from underneath the vehicle. The access to the headlight is also very problematic; require many steps, and tools, in order to remove the housing. You will need to remove torx bolts in order to reliably access the engine air filter. The tools necessary for this many not be readily available for use.

Some things are easier on the 2008 Cadillac Escalade. Checking the oil level is easy to do, as the oil dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Changing the front wiper blades is easy to do on this car, as you only need your bare hands in order to change the blades. The engine coolant fluid level is easy to check on this vehicle, as the coolant reservoir is visibly located in the engine bay.
