The 2008 Chevrolet Colorado WT is a relatively easy truck to maintain, and a good choice for the average truck owner. Checking the transmission fluid level is easy to do, as the fluid dipstick is easily accessible in the engine bay. Not every truck includes this dipstick. The engine coolant fluid reservoir is easily visible in the engine bay. This will allow you to reliably check and replenish the fluid level. Setting the clock is no problem, as there are designated buttons for you to change the time on this truck.

Some things are more of a problem on the 2008 Chevrolet Colorado WT. To access the headlight bulb on one side of this truck, you will have to completely remove the air filter housing first. An extra step you won’t have to complete on other trucks. You will have to lower the spare tire from under the truck in order to access it. This can be tough, as the lowering mechanism can grow rusted to the vehicle over time and be difficult to turn. You will have to remove a few screws in order to replace the center brake light. Most vehicles make this bulb an LED light, meaning you will have to change it more often on this truck.
